PRIVACY/DISCLOSURE POLICY

It's a very simple policy.

I will never knowingly give out, sell, or rent any information about a contact.

Any information collected, whether it be a cookie or personal information is for my own use.  I will explain these uses below.

You might see a cookie being set when you surf AC Information.   These cookies are used to get information such as web browser being used, version etc.  I use this information to watch the trend of web browser usage so when I'm changing the pages I do not start using tags that are not supported by the majority of the web browsers surfing AC Information.  I always like to keep the page concurrent with the mainstream browsers out there.

For the Mailing list, I collect country information.  The reason for this is  I like to see where my contacts are coming from.  Kinda like postcard collecting and putting a pin on the map when you get one from somewhere in the world.

I have included a couple of Frequently Asked Questions concerning Privacy and Disclosure about the mailing list.

  • Do you sell e-mail addresses? Will list members get spam? Can I rent a list of email addresses from AC Information?
  • Your site uses cookies...I've heard they are an invasion of privacy and insecure. Is this true?
  • How do you prevent someone from subscribing someone else? What is a verification message?
  • I hope that this answers all your questions.  The bottom line is that if anything is collected, it's ONLY used so that I may create a web page that is current with the most popular trends.  If you have any questions, please feel free to e-mail me.

  • How do you prevent someone from subscribing someone else to a list?
  • What is a verification message?

The first time someone contacts AC Information, they will be sent a verification (welcome) message. This allows me to verify that the member can receive mail, and to prevent someone from maliciously adding someone else.
